Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

This website is the professional website of Rekha Balaji, Mobile Mortgage Advisor with CIBC. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect

Please don’t send your Social Insurance Number, account numbers, income documents or other sensitive financial details through this website. Rekha will tell you how to share those securely if you apply.

How it is used

Your information is used only to respond to your enquiry and follow up about your mortgage needs. It is not sold, rented or used for unrelated marketing. If you go on to apply for a mortgage, your application is handled by CIBC under CIBC’s own privacy policy.

Service providers

The website uses a few service providers to work. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:

Some of these providers may process information outside Canada.

The AI assistant

The chat on this site is an automated AI assistant, not Rekha. It keeps your conversation in your own browser so it’s there if you come back. Clear your browser’s site data to remove it. It gives general information only, not financial advice, and conversations that turn into an enquiry are saved with the enquiry so Rekha has the context.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Turnstile may set a cookie needed for the spam check.

Keeping it safe and how long

Information is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited to Rekha and the website’s maintainer. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and are deleted on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information you sent through this website, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, by emailing Rekha.Balaji@cibc.com or calling 780-394-5555. If you have a concern about how your information was handled, you can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
